Privacy Policy

• Account details: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and profile photo Google shares with us.
• Subscription details: your plan, subscription status, renewal dates and the customer ID our payment processor, Stripe, gives us. Stripe collects your card details directly. We never see or store your full card number.
• Usage and device information: standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type, the pages you request and when.
• Preferences: your day/dark theme choice, saved in your own browser's local storage.
• Messages: anything you send us, such as a support email.

• to run EdgeFinder: sign you in, give you the access your plan includes, and keep the site working;
• to bill your subscription and send account and billing messages, such as sign-in links and receipts;
• to answer your questions;
• to keep the site secure and prevent fraud, abuse and account sharing;
• to understand how the boards are used so we can improve them;
• to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking scripts on the site.

Only the service providers that run parts of EdgeFinder for us, and only what each one needs:

• Supabase: our database and sign-in provider;
• Stripe: payments and subscription billing;
• Vercel: website hosting;
• Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. Your theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage, not on our servers. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages to process payments and prevent fraud.

We keep your account details while your account is open. When you close it, we delete or anonymize your personal information, except billing records we must keep for tax and accounting, and anything we need to keep to resolve disputes or prevent fraud.

You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@edgefndr.com. We will confirm the request comes from you before acting on it. Depending on where you live, including California and other US states with privacy laws, you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what we collect and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither). We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

EdgeFinder is only for people 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

EdgeFinder and its service providers process information in the United States.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date, and tell you by email or on the site if the change is significant.
